Experience Ireland Golf & Travel - Golf Package

After 12 years enjoying great craic on and off the course in the West of Ireland, the Links Challenge returns to Carne & Enniscrone for its 13th Annual Tournament in August 2025! Event Dates are Wednesday 20th to Friday 22nd August.


Day 1 will take us to beautiful Belmullet and Carne Golf Links’ Hackett Course & Enniscrone Golf Links on Wednesday 20th August 2025. This Belmullet Beauty is a joy to behold, where you will experience some of the most scenic golf holes anywhere in the World – in fact it is like playing golf on the edge of the World!! Whoever leads after Round 1 will definitely deserve it.

Day 2
The 2nd Round sees us back again at Carne Golf Links, this time to take on their Wild Atlantic Dunes Course on Thursday 21st August 2025! This courses meanders through massive dunes taking in the old Back 9 on the Hackett and the Kilmore 9, this is a truly tremendous golf experience and one not to be missed!

Day 3
The Final Round of our 13th Annual Tournament will take place at the exquisite Enniscrone Golf Links & Carne’s Hackett Course on Friday 22nd August 2025! An ethereal golf experience, you will enjoy a true Links Golf test here with some of the best finishing holes to be found on Ireland’s West Coast! The 2025 Champions will have thoroughly deserved their victory and if the past few years are anything to go by it could well go down to the last couple of holes in the Final Round!!

Event Packages

The Event Packages for our 2025 Tournament are as follows:

Golf Only €300 per person / €600 per Team of 2
2 night Play & Stay €450 pp / €900 per Team of 2
3 night Play & Stay €575 pp / €1,150 per Team of 2
4 night Play & Stay €650 pp / €1,300 per Team of 2

3 & 4 night packages include the BBQ at the Great National Hotel Ballina on Thursday 21st August

Accommodation:
Accommodation in Belmullet will available at The Broadhaven Bay Hotel, which is close to Carne Golf Links. Accommodation will also be available at the Great National Hotel in Ballina in advance of the rounds at Enniscrone Golf Links.
Tournament Format
The Tournament Format will stay the same for the Event from previous years

Pairs Tournament, Teams of 2:
Par 4s & Par 5s: Both players tee off and pick one tee shot, from this spot both players then play their own ball from there. The first player to play will be the player whose tee shot is chosen (Play as Lie depending on the Local Rules on the day), the 2nd player may then place their ball within a scorecard not nearer the hole.
Par 3s: Both players play their own ball for the duration of the hole Team of 2 with both scores on holes 9 & 18 and 1 score to count on the other holes each (3/4 Handicaps apply)
