Description
The Sandy Hills Links at Rosapenna Hotel & Golf Resort, designed by Pat Ruddy and Frank Casey Sr., opened in June 2003 and has matured into one of Ireland's finest modern links courses. Measuring 7,255 yards from the championship tees, the course offers a challenging yet fair test for golfers of all abilities, with multiple tee options available. The routing through towering dunes provides a sense of seclusion and immersion in the natural landscape, with many holes featuring elevated tees and greens, and drives into natural bowls on the dune floor. The course is renowned for its spectacular views across the Old Tom Morris Links toward the beautiful Sheephaven Bay.
